MIKE
DOUGLAS - Mike has been singing gospel music for about 33 years. Even at a young age, he would listen to such singers
as Perry Como, Arthur Godfrey and Andy Williams. Influenced by local gospel quartets, Elementary Glee Club and singing
in the church choir, Mike felt led to use his talent to sing for the Lord. His brother John, along with Mike, formed
a trio with their sister, singing as John played the guitar. After singing with his brother and a few changes in personnel,
they changed their name to "The Harvest Trio", and sang over 160 dates a year.
In 1983, they recorded with the Eddie Crook Company
in Nashville, TN on the Regency Record label. The song that he co-wrote with the piano player Randall B. Snodgrass, did very
well all across the U.S., but did not chart with The Singing News. The song, "Jesus, You're A Comfort", did hit some
local radio charts in the top 40 songs of the year. In 1987 and 1988, The Harvest Trio sang on the main stage at the National
Quartet Convention in Nashville, TN. After a couple of more changes in personnel and making an effort to go full-time, John
and his wife were called into the full-time preaching ministry. Mike chose to sing solo for a while, as well as, speak in
some of the local area churches.
He was asked to sing lead with The Proclaimers Quartet
based in Parkersburg, WV. Mike sang with them for 6 years and had the opportunity to record three projects with them at Harvest
Gospel Studio in Huntington, WV.
After spending almost 5 years with DaySpring and recording
two projects, Mike once again joined up with his brother John and his wife Sue, along with Mike's wife
Helen, to continue the ministry of DaySpring.

HELEN DOUGLAS- Helen is Mike's wife and has been
singing in church since she was a teenager. She is a great singer in her own right and has recorded some great songs
on the DaySpring's newest project "Just Another Mile". This is not the first recording with a group. Prior to recording
with DaySpring, she was included on the last project with "The Harvest Trio" called, "New Directions" in the late
1980's.
She has been receiving great reviews from people
in many of the churches we have been for the songs recorded on the new project including the Bill and Gloria Gaither song
called, "Going Home".

JOHN DOUGLAS - John is Mike's brother and is the original manager for "The Harvest Trio".
Keeping the group on the road for 16 years, the trio sang at many venues over Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania,
and Maryland. The group spent over 166 dates a year traveling in a tour bus and still working regular jobs on the side.
When John was called into the pastoral ministry, he soon left the trio to pursue God's desire
for him. He has pastored 3 churches and has plans to continue on in the ministry.
John has been helping DaySpring whenever needed. With an ability and talent to pick up harmonies
quickly, John has enabled DaySpring to continue singing when other vocalists were unable to make singing dates.
John has also had an interest in DaySpring from the beginning by providing advice and consultation
with equipment needs and other aspects of the ministry. He also gave DaySpring the opportunity to debut the new group at his
own church in Vienna, WV.
John is featured on the title song to the new project called, "Just Another Mile" and will continue
to be a vital part of the ministry of DaySpring.

SUE DOUGLAS - Sue is John's wife and has been singing southern gospel music ever since she
was a young child. Her father is a minister and he used to stand her up on a stool so she could sing to the congregation
of his church.
Her unique alto voice has given her a special blend and quality that resonates
her great love for the Lord. It is a blessing to sing with someone who has dedicated her life to the Lord and is using her
talent in a way that would glorify Christ.
She has always listened and loved the wonderful singing of "The Rambos" and is featured on
a song written by Dottie Rambo on the new project called, "Sheltered in the Arms of God", a song that fits her voice, as well
as, her personality. The song has been a blessing to many people who have heard her sing it in concert and on the new
project.
Sue also is featured on a brand new song on the new project called, "Heaven Beats All I've
Ever Seen". When your hear her sing it, you will definitely agree that it is a great song with a great promise.
Sue is also active in her own church's Praise Team and love's singing and praising the Lord.
